Mom's. . . there might not be a lot that you can do right now if you have little ones, your schedule may be super crazy, or if you're working a full time job and have only the weekends "off." (I say "off" because you know . . . we don't really have "off" time right lol!)
But if there is at least one simple yet effective thing you can do everyday is pray your big mama heart out!
Today I have a prayer challenge for my readers. Pray until something happens in Africa! We know a wonderful family who live in Niger, Africa: The Childs Family. They are from Texas and moved to Africa when God came a callin.
Here's why I say its a challenge. Churches are being burned, Christians are being attacked, and focused prayer is needed.
Here's a quote from Danette:
Through the ashes, we are walking to victory. The family of God in Niger is not only strong, but mighty. On Saturday, January 17, 2015, the church in Niger was attacked in a way that has never happened in the history of this nation. The unrest began earlier in the week in reaction to the Charlie Hebdo newspaper articles in France. The Muslims here rose up to make a point and attacked almost all of the churches in the capital city of Niamey, as well as Bible schools and Christian primary schools. Churches and Christian homes in other parts of the country were also attacked. We know however, that this was a ploy of the enemy – reacting to the growth of the church in Niger. What an idiot he is. This attack has only further strengthened the Christians here and out of the ashes the church will rise – bigger and stronger than ever before!
Vie Abondante personally had 2 churches destroyed, 3 Bible Schools damaged, and the homes of 2 of our pastors and their families were destroyed, along with almost all of their possessions. We’re still assessing the loss/damage, but it numbers into the tens of thousands. If you would like to help us with the Rebuild/Restore project, your tax-deductible gift can be sent to us from this website. The donate button will take you to eGive where you can indicate in the ‘special instructions’ section on the giving page ‘Niger Rebuild’. We thank you and Vie Abondante thanks you.
Despite all of this mess the enemy is trying to pull God is so good! This next photograph speaks the world to me, isn't it powerful!! THEY HAD CHURCH ANYWAY. . . DESPITE THE FIRES!! What a snapshot of victory of God's power and of faith. It gives me goosebumps because I can only imagine how strong the holy spirit is there.
What a picture of beauty from the ashes.
Isaiah 61:3 New Living Translation (NLT)
3 To all who mourn in Israel,[a] he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.

If a nation can rise up and pray these things out, why can't we do that here in America?
Until next time...pray for Africa!
